What can you do to make your hybrid program interactive and engaging for people in the room and at home? In this webinar, moderator Melissa Wong will share strategies for engaging audience members in the hybrid environment. We’ll explore tools and activities that are simple, fun, and effective, and have time for some hands-on practice.

Presenter:
Melissa A. Wong is an adjunct lecturer in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she teaches courses in reference, instruction, elearning, and academic librarianship. Melissa is the co-editor of Reference and Information Services: An Introduction, 6th edition, with Laura Saunders, and co-author, also with Laura Saunders, of the open access textbook Instruction in Libraries and Information Settings: An Introduction. She was the 2022 recipient of the Reference and User Services Association’s Isadore Gilbert Mudge Award for contributions to reference librarianship and the 2012 recipient of the university’s Campus Award for Excellence in Online and Distance Teaching.
