Climate Change Library Lab: Climate Preparedness in Your Library

Climate change and associated natural disasters are a growing issue for libraries. The Climate Change Library Lab team will discuss what you and your library can do to be prepared for climate disasters, how to educate your community, and how to focus on sustainability. Lizzy Boden, Adult Services Manager, Hinsdale Library

  • Lizzy Boden is the Adult Services Manager at the Hinsdale Public Library.

 Rhonda Evans, Assistant Chief Librarian of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture

  • Rhonda Evans is the Assistant Chief Librarian of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture where she supports the management of the Research and Reference Division’s diverse collections that focus on people of African descent throughout the world. 

Kayla Kuni, Associate Director of Libraries, Pasco-Hernando State College

  • Kayla Kuni collaborates with an amazing team in collection development, cataloging, library instruction, and other library-related activities at the PHSC Spring Hill campus. She earned an MLIS and MBA from the University of South Florida and is currently working on an EdD at Florida State University.

Jennifer K. Embree, Subject Librarian & Sustainability Hub Coordinator, Binghamton University Libraries

  • Jennifer K. Embree is the Subject Librarian for the areas of psychology, biology, comparative literature, Latin American and Caribbean area studies, and translation research at Binghamton University. She also serves as the Libraries' Sustainability Hub Coordinator, which includes responsibilities such as planning events, creating sustainability-related programming, and maintaining both virtual and physical spaces that help support and cultivate a sustainability culture at Binghamton.
