Part 1: An Introduction to GitHub Pages, Markdown, and R Studio This introductory webinar lays the groundwork with some basic skills required to use GitHub Pages and Quarto for building a personal website. Participants will learn about GitHub and GitHub Pages, authoring documents using Markdown, and building Quarto projects in R Studio. By the end of the workshop, participants will have created a GitHub account and set it up to use GitHub Pages, written a basic webpage using Markdown, committed changes to a GitHub project, created a simple webpage, and created a Quarto project in R Studio.
