2-Part Project Management Webinar Series (Part Two): More Agile Teams and Collaborations

Can a more agile leadership approach cultivate motivation and improve your team's and community's collaborations and outcomes? From "failing fast" and "defining done" to increased transparency and earlier stakeholder feedback, agile project management strategies can help us build trust, encourage growth, and create more collaborative and effective teams and community relationships. Attendees will learn the differences between agile and more traditional project management approaches and be introduced to popular agile methods, including Kanban boards and sprints.

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the session, attendees will be able to:

  • Define and differentiate between waterfall and agile project management;
  • Identify common agile approaches to projects and team management; and
  • Apply popular agile techniques to projects, teams, and planning.

 

Presenter Bio: 

Jami Yazdani is a project management consultant known for helping mission-driven organizations lead more impactful projects, teams, and planning. Jami began her library career in circulation roles before earning a library degree and has been a reference librarian, technology librarian, library manager, and library director. She founded Yazdani Consulting and Facilitation in 2018. Jami holds a Masters in Library and Information Science and a Masters in Technology Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM).
