Description

From the local coffee shop to multinational organizations, many corporations share our passion for libraries and literacy. Library Trustees, Friends, and Foundations are ideal ambassadors to connect businesses with ways to support the library – through funds, advocacy, and promotion. In this panel discussion, experienced fundraisers and corporate representatives who have supported libraries will discuss how we can capitalize on that connection to raise money. The program will begin with the panelists sharing their perspectives on how library staff, Trustees, Friends, and Foundations can help catalyze corporate support. The speakers will share stories of how corporations have supported libraries and what drives organizational giving.  This session will conclude with a Q&A with panelists.
