Best of Core Forum: Translating Mission Statements into Metrics

Description: Useful metrics must balance alignment, objectivity, measurability, and ease of communication. Mission, vision, and values statements can help anchor and direct a library, but their high degree of abstraction makes them difficult to measure, making it hard to set institutional goals and communicate successes. However, identifying the priorities that align with these statements allows you to choose metrics that effectively and efficiently measure performance.

This webinar was previously presented in-person as a session at the 2023 Core Forum. We are hosting this webinar, with the session adapted and presented live as a virtual event, to extend its reach.
