Diversity Audits in Academic Library Collections

In this webinar, attendees will learn about the use of audits as a way to assess the diversity and inclusivity of their academic library collections. Using questions and challenges that other academic libraries frequently ask about designing and conducting diversity audits, the presenters will walk attendees through important pieces to consider, and discuss ways that institutions of different types and sizes can adapt diversity audits to their own collections.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this webinar, attendees will:

  • have a stronger understanding of the diversity audit process and the questions they will need to consider specific to their institutions; and
  • leave the webinar with suggested resources and readings to use while designing their audit.

Who Should Attend: Anyone working in academic libraries or who would like to work in academic libraries is encouraged to attend.
